ZachXBT: Unable to accept that Cetus is only willing to offer a reward of $5 million for finding the Hacker.
Odaily News On-chain detective ZachXBT posted on X platform stating that if the $5 million is only offered for successfully helping Cetus find the hacker, no capable company would accept such a charging structure. It indicates that this requires a lot of time investment. Essentially, the victims do not have to bear any upfront risks, while those trying to help have to bear their time and effort. This is not fair. These vague "bounties" are harmful to the industry; they look like what the team is doing, but in reality, they do not motivate anyone. What if law enforcement is unable to recover all funds at the time of arrest?
